Dear Andy,
I am so proud of your courage to not settle! Luckily, when you speak to the Sanders/Cooper clan- we understand and champion the quest for a life of meaning and genuine contentment with ones path. This does not mean that it's always smooth going but it does mean that it is truly your unique life.
You will know when something and someone feels right! I promise you this. Follow your heart, your gut. No matter what happens- it will always be your choice. People never understood my choices and yet when I would return from my journeys- they would always proudly show me off and praise my
accomplishments. Often people would want to know how I escaped getting trapped in life.
You will take the path that all explorers have taken. The road less traveled. You will always know who your fellow seekers are because they will never question your motives, they will encourage your curiosity.
I promise you that when you feel that you have learned what you need to learn- about yourself and your direction, YOU WILL KNOW! You will be ready for the next phase of your life. And your journey/quest will continue in the next dirrection. You will meet the partner that you are meant to be with along the way. It will be clear to both of you that this is right and that you want to make a life together - moving through whatever life has to offer.
I promise you this dear Andy!!! No one has ever lived your life before. If you are meant to be a father, you will only want that your children find their own happiness. We teach not with words but with actions. You must find your happiness period! You will find peace in the fact that no matter what- you gave it your best shot.
That's all that anyone can do and then you go for it all again until it ends and that's that!
